Full version: Invasion of Poland 1939 is a turn based strategy game set on the European theater during the Second World War. From Joni Nuutinen: by a wargamer for the wargamers since 2011You are in the command of the German WWII armed forces invading Poland from three separate directions ( Fall Weiss - Case White). While Germans have a clear advantage once all the divisions join the offensive, Polish Army defends their homeland fiercely using the defensive fortifications, rivers, and their local mobility to try to halt the German advance before the entire country is torn into pieces. The object of the game is to seize both the Polish capital city of Warsaw and control over 100 Victory Points as quickly as possible.FEATURES:+ Historical accuracy: Campaign mirrors the historical setup.+ Long-lasting: Thanks to in-built variation and the games smart AI technology, each game provides a unique war gaming experience.+ Competitive: Measure your strategy game skills against others fighting for the Hall of Fame top spots.+ Good AI: Instead of just attacking on direct line towards the target, the AI balances between strategic goals and smaller tasks like encircling nearby units.+ Settings: Various options are available to alter the look of the gaming experience: Change difficulty level, hexagon size, Animation speed, choose icon set for units (NATO or REAL) and cities (Round, Shield, Square, block of houses), decide what is drawn on the map, and much more.+ Tablet friendly strategy game: Automatically scales the map for any physical screen size/resolution from small smartphones to HD tablets, while settings allow you to fine tune hexagon and font sizes.+ Inexpensive: The German invasion of Poland - a WWII campaign also known as the September Campaign or 1939 Defensive War - for the price of a coffee! In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support to an attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain local superiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use brute force when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off its supply lines instead.Join your fellow strategy gamers in changing the course of the Second World War!Privacy Policy (full text on website and app menu): No account creation is possible, the made-up username used in the Hall of Fame listings is not tied to any account and does not have password. Location, personal, or device identifier data is not used in any way. In the case of crash the following non-personal data is sent (vie web-form using ACRA library) to allow quick fix: Stack trace (code which failed), Name of the App, Version number of the App, and Version number of the Android OS. The app only requests the permissions it needs to function.Conflict-Series by Joni Nuutinen has offered highly rated Android-only strategy board games since 2011, and even the first scenarios are still actively updated. The campaigns are based on the time-tested gaming mechanics TBS (turn-based strategy) enthusiasts are familiar with from both the classic PC war games and legendary tabletop board games. I want to thank the fans for all the well thought-out suggestions over the years which have allowed these campaigns to improve at a much higher rate than what any solo indie developer could dream of. If you have advice on how to improve this board game series please use email, this way we can have a constructive back and forth chat without the limits of the stores comment system. In addition, because I have huge number of projects on multiple stores, it’s just not sensible to spend handful of hours each day going through hundreds of pages spread all over the Internet to see if there is a question somewhere -- just send me an email and I will get back to you. Thanks for understanding!+ Minefields requested by Generals/Commanders now arrive with one turn delay+ Assigning replacements (+1 HP) to a unit is a bit easier (3 adjacent enemy hexagons allowed, but the severity of enemy-blocks-replacements depends on the Difficulty Level+ HOF relocated to web (see dev-log for details)+ Setting: HOF: Send scores to online database (ON/OFF switch)+ Setting: Turn major developer alerts ON/OFF+ AI artillery might escape capture+ AI: Improvements in front line coherence

I'm sure it's a solid strategy game and it could be fun. However I tried it for awhile and then had it refunded. It seems to be geared towards people that have been playing awhile or already know how. As someone who has never played a game in this series it just wasn't fun. There is no way of knowing what all the numbers mean, how the actions work, what you're supposed to do.. Etc. A few tiles have notes but that's it. I hoped to find a manual of any sort somewhere online but no luck. No thanks

Another great game from Joni. He constantly updates his games, making what is already fun and replayable even more so! His games don't dissapoint. A+

Not bad! I was able to withstand and understand the overall campaign. The AI is somewhat realistic with constant counter-attacks that keeps you on your toes.

Pretty much what it says on the tin, a division-level simulation of the 1939 invasion of Poland. Despite the Germans having a serious advantage, the Poles can still make things very challenging for the player, especially in combination with the fog of war.

This game appears at first to be an easy victory for the Germans, but don't be fooled. Following the historical German battle plan will win the day, if you don't get cocky. Try different levels of difficulty. Awesome addition to my growing collection of games from Joni Nuutinen.

Really like that there's several fronts, I think plan is to coordinate units and meet at Warsaw.defending tactics.kinda limited units

Just started getting into this game and really enjoy it. A distillation of many of the best features of the Conflicts Game series with the addition of some new ones. Supply chain is a great idea, I think it needs some tweaks to get it just right. I also enjoy the accuracy of the campaign, and like having Generals around. I have been playing Operation Barbarossa for a couple of years and Invasion of Poland is fast becoming my favorite game. Thanks Joni

I love this game, as well as the rest of the conflict series. I'd love to see some more Pacific battles, Okinawa, saipan, Guam, Guadalcanal, tarawa. Keep up the good work

It's becoming hard to decide which nation I want to invade, but I'm NOT complaining. This game, like all the other Conflict Series games I've played, is fine-tuned to the era, the region and the individual abilities of the generals (or so it seems to me) making this game yet another world to escape to. I've just gotten started and I love it already. I'll fine-tune this review if I need to...there are always some tricks up Mr Nuutinen's sleeve!
